The Neck Stretch No One Does (and Everyone Needs)

How much time do you spend sitting at a desk? Looking at your phone? Driving in a car? Reading? Eating?

Almost every activity that fills your day will be doing the same thing to your neck – pulling your head in front of your body.

The #1 complaint I treat in my massage practice is neck and shoulder pain.

No matter where the pain is, I always start the same way: addressing the FRONT of the neck before releasing the sides or back.

The good news is there’s a super easy and effective way to stretch the front of the neck that can help you find relief from neck pain.

In this video you’ll learn:

  • Why stretching the front of the neck is crucial for treating neck pain.

  • The #1 neck stretch I teach all my clients.

  • A simple strategy to actually doing it every day.

Pretty easy, right?

Now listen, this one stretch one time won’t fix all your neck problems. But getting in the habit of doing it regularly can dramatically improve your posture and help prevent further injuries.

Healing takes time and practice. Remember that doing this stretch a few minutes a day is 1000x better not doing it at all.

Now I want to hear from you. Leave me a comment and tell me when and where you’ll do this stretch during your day.

Saying when and where you’re going to do something makes it TWICE AS LIKELY that you will do it.

If you want more inspiration to keep you on the Upward Spiral, I’ve got something for you.

It’s my 5-day Upward Spiral Mini Course. It will help you learn the crucial steps for how to make changes that stick.

Thank you for watching and keep traveling on your journey of the upward spiral. I’m grateful to be along for the ride.
